Pedestrian and Bicycle Accessibility at AHS
In 2023, Andover voters did not approve funding to move ahead with a new high school. As a result, this advocacy work is temporarily on hold.
WalkBike Andover will be presenting to the AHS Building Committee on Thursday, April 27th 2023 at 7:50am in the School Committee Room (second floor of the School Administration Building, 30 Whittier Ct.) to urge that safe pedestrian and bicycle access be prioritized for any new AHS plan, and as a first step, engage the free state-run Safe Routes to School program for a site plan review by pedestrian and bicycle safety experts.
Please show your support for prioritizing safe pedestrian and bicycle access at AHS by taking one or more of the steps below.
 Attend the AHS Building Committee meeting in person (Thursday, April 27th at 7:50am in the School Committee Room on the 2nd floor of the School Administration Building at 30 Whittier Ct) and speak up with your support for prioritizing safe pedestrian and bicycle access at a new AHS.
